The Hospitality Series

Print that comes
alive in their hands.

Beautiful printed cards placed across a stay — before arrival, at check-in, in the room, with the dish, at checkout. Each one wakes into video the moment a guest lifts their phone. No app to download. Print once, then change the video as often as your menus do.

No app required iOS & Android New video from a script

Paper, then video

It looks like a beautiful card.
Then it isn't one.

A guest lifts their phone over the printed artwork and the card starts playing — your chef presenting the dish in front of them, your General Manager welcoming them by name. The artwork itself is the trigger, so there's no QR square on the front unless you want one.

We turn a photograph of your chef, your concierge, your General Manager, etc. into a Living Portrait™ that speaks in their voice in up to 100 languages. We can then change their message with a simple script.

Where you'd use it

Before, during, and even after the stay.

Every card lands where a guest is already holding something and already paying attention. Use one, or use all of them. Choose a moment to see the card.

The Pre-Arrival Card

Two formats

Two sizes. Portrait or landscape.

We keep the range deliberately small so you can start without a design project. Both sizes work in either orientation — the artwork itself is the AR marker either way.

Every card is printed on 18pt super deluxe stock with a satin coating. No foil, no spot gloss, no other treatments — one excellent material, so there's nothing to specify and nothing to go wrong. Product details and print pricing at paperviewpost.com.

Print once

Change the video whenever you like.

Choosing and designing your cards is the easy part — pick the moments you want, we lay them out to your brand and print them once. After that, every card points at an address we control. When the menu turns or the team changes, you send us the new script and we post a new film behind the same printed card, usually within 48 hours.

Nothing is reprinted. Nobody leaves service. Your monthly plan sets how many updates you get — and you can change as often as that allows.

One card for every season

Portrait styles

However your property wants to look.

We offer a wide variety of styles — from photo-realistic through to an artistic treatment that matches your property's own visual language. Here are a few of them.

Real-time analytics

Know exactly what your cards are doing.

Every scan is counted the moment it happens. Track total scans, unique users and button clicks, filter by date range and platform, and export the raw numbers to CSV whenever you need them. No personally identifying information is ever collected.

Before you ask

The questions your team will raise.

Does the guest have to download anything?

No, and this is the part most AR programs get wrong. On iPhone it opens as an App Clip — Apple's built-in, install-free format. On Android and everywhere else it opens in the browser. Nothing to install, no account, no sign-in.

How do the videos get made?

For each person who appears on a card, you upload one good photograph and a short voice recording, once. We build the portrait and send you a sample to approve before anything goes live. After that, a new video needs only a new script — you never schedule a shoot and your chef never leaves the pass.

What happens when our executive chef leaves?

We retire that portrait and build the new one. The printed card never changes, because it points at an address we control rather than at a fixed file. This is the single biggest reason the program is a monthly plan rather than a one-off print job.

How do you handle consent for someone's face and voice?

Per person, in writing, specific to digital replica use — not a line buried in an employment contract. Each individual approves their own portrait before it goes live, and the consent names duration, territory and permitted uses, and is revocable. When someone leaves, you trigger a retirement and the portrait is pulled from every card it appears on.

Do we have to tell guests the video is AI-generated?

In the EU, yes — the AI Act has required deployers to disclose AI-generated content resembling real people since August 2026, and that obligation sits with the property. So we build the disclosure in rather than leave each hotel to work it out. The artistic portrait styles sit inside the carve-out for evidently artistic work, which is one reason some properties prefer them.

Our guests speak dozens of languages.

The experience reads the device language and serves the matching cut. Because the video is generated from a script, an extra language costs a translation rather than a reshoot — which is the biggest practical advantage of this model for an international property.

What do you collect about our guests?

Scan counts, timestamps, device type and watch-through — nothing personally identifying, no account, no email capture unless you add a booking or loyalty link and the guest chooses to tap it. There's no app collecting anything in the background because there's no app.

Can we get more video than our plan includes?

Yes. Additional video production, editing of footage you supply, and custom design work outside the standard templates are all available and quoted on request.
